We are currently looking to expand our Property and Asset Management team and are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our Oxford office. The post holder will be responsible for a varied portfolio and contribute to the growth of the firm's infrastructure clients nationally.
We encourage flexible working within the role; typically, an Asset Manager would be on site one or two days a week, in the office one or two days a week, with the option of working from home for the remainder should the individual wish.
Main tasks:
1. Day-to-day management of mixed property portfolios comprising of residential assets, including:
2. Leasing and letting of property.
3. Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals.
4. Dealing with the acquisition and onboarding of new assets into the portfolio.
5. Liaison with the Facilities Management team to ensure all compliance checks are complete.
6. Managing and organising improvement, repair, and maintenance work for residential properties, including liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access, and checking that works are completed.
7. Undertaking annual/periodic property inspections.
8. Managing relations with key stakeholders.
9. Providing accurate, timely client reports.
10. Maintaining a strong working knowledge of appropriate legislation.
11. Undertaking site visits where necessary to read meters, undertake audible fire alarm tests, meet contractors, and carry out basic inspections.

What will it take to be successful?
We are looking for applicants who ideally have MRICS, AssocRICS, or MARLA qualifications and possess extensive asset management experience or similar experience. Strong experience in dealing with clients, stakeholders, and contractors is essential, alongside experience of working in a fast-paced environment where professionalism and flexibility are key. You will be highly organised, with good time management skills and possess a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. A full driving license is essential.
