BHRUT Faster Diagnostic Service is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS) is a national cancer standard designed to ensure that patients with suspected cancer have their cancer diagnosed or excluded within 28 days of referral.
The appointed post holder will be an integral part of the team, with various opportunities in education and training to further develop their skills. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, will work autonomously, and provide care according to the diagnostic pathways set out within the SOP.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of this role is to deliver the Faster Diagnostic service to the GI pathway. The post holder will contribute to clinical leadership and operational management of the Faster Diagnostic Service, acting as a role model and adopting a flexible approach in a role that encompasses service management and clinical responsibilities.
