Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead our strategic marketing initiatives for Finning UK and Ireland. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to attract potential customers and retain our valued existing ones through the development, implementation, and execution of cutting-edge marketing plans. You'll have the chance to manage a substantial budget across an extensive and complex network that spans the UK, Ireland, and global territories, engaging with multifaceted Caterpillar stakeholder networks. Leading a dedicated team, you'll collaborate closely with Caterpillar and leverage global resources, suppliers, and capabilities to drive unparalleled results and productivity.
Job Description:
Major Job Functions
Marketing:
* Lead the marketing team to develop successful business partner relationships with internal and external customers and service providers.
* Deliver and measure impactful marketing programmes, campaigns and promotions underpinned by Brand. Overall responsibility for market research, agency & 3rd party supplier management, all methods & media.
* Prioritise and allocate work to tiered Marketing Services.
Stakeholder Management:
* Senior level management of UK&I and Caterpillar Marketing liaison.
* Customer Experience change agent. Provide direction and implement sustainable change programmes to deliver transformational performance.
* Collaboration with and leverage Caterpillar, Tiered Services & Global resources and capabilities to optimise both results and productivity.

Knowledge:
* Knowledge and understanding of all marketing approaches, media & disciplines, customer journey mapping techniques and project management, data collection, quality & management processes & operations.
* Experience in leading direct and virtual teams and delivering rapid, impactful execution to achieve critical business goals in a highly pressured environment.
* Experience in constructing & winning investments for business cases, including presenting to Executive Director level teams.
* Experience in initiating and delivering change activity, ideally with experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies.
Education and Experience:
* Essential - A minimum of 10 years experience driving Marketing initiatives.
* Essential – Proven experience in customer-centred research & design, traditional and digital marketing media, digital commerce, and traditional sales teams.
* Essential – Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and focus areas within a complex international matrix structure.
* Desirable - Experience in the Heavy Plant sector or similar B2B industry.
