Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have an exciting consulting assignment available for 3 x Site QC engineers (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) to work on a number of utility scale Solar farms, with the initial one based in Warwickshire. Join our latest project! CMC are looking to engage 3 x Site Based QC engineers/inspectors (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical), to support a utility scale Solar Farm to be constructed in Warwickshire. By joining this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil/structural, mechanical, or electrical activities on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing/conducting inspections, verifying adherence to project specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality management systems.
2. Maintain safety standards and comply with the Project's Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements.
3. Execute the Project Quality Plan, ensuring compliance through project specifications, procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements (MSs).
4. Verify inspections are performed to ITP requirements, issue relevant Quality Records, and report non-conformities.
5. Verify inspections in accordance with ITPs, ensuring proper staff and calibrated equipment usage, checking required inspection points, and reporting non-conformities to the Quality Control Supervisor.
6. Inspect materials/equipment during receipt, ensuring compliance and monitoring preservation during storage, handling, and installation.
7. Verify calibration of equipment, installation of instruments/tubing, and conduct final walk downs, recording observations and monitoring the progress of punch items.
This is a 12 month + contract engagement (outside IR35), with our client having 2GW of Utility scale Solar projects in pipeline across the UK.
