Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Receptionist/Typist based at Ailsa Hospital/Arrol Park Resource Centre.
Hours:
37 per week, working Monday-Friday.
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South Ayrshire H&SCP Business Support Team for a highly motivated Receptionist/Typist. These posts will support service delivery to the patients and staff based within South Ayrshire Mental Health Services. You will provide a robust reception and administrative service, supporting both clinical and managerial staff groups with their daily workload.
You will be based within South Ayrshire locality (Ailsa Campus/Arrol Park) and work closely with colleagues from management teams, clinical areas, and patients across the H&SCP area. You will act as the first point of contact for enquiries, reception, clinical area/meeting room bookings, and associated administrative tasks, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. SVQ Level II in Administration
2. High standard of literacy, good numerical skills, typing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word and associated packages.
3. Experience of using the electronic patient management system (PMS - Trakcare) and Care Partner is advantageous.
4. Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
