Do you want to be the senior figure within the inspection department and work on the latest software and CMM machines? Look no further. You will be programming highly complex components and completing complex FAIRS reports for a variety of machined parts. You will be the go-to figure in the team to offer your expertise to other inspectors. It is a fast-moving, busy sub-contractor with a great variety of parts coming out of the machine shop into the inspection department.
The Job:
As a CMM Programmer, you will help with the increased workload in the inspection department. You will be solely responsible for creating the offline programs as well as supporting the inspectors in quality checking the parts. The work can be varied as they are a sub-contractor, so it can be anything from one-offs to small batch runs.
You will oversee a team of 2 quality inspectors alongside your CMM Programming duties, so you will be fully in control of the inspection department and can really make it your own. The role is also a Monday to Friday position with no shifts required.

What we need from you:
1. CMM offline programming experience - ideally PC-DMIS
2. Report writing based on inspecting parts
3. Experience inspecting precision machined components
