The Role
This is an exciting new role where you will lead a growing part of the business. The Maintenance Coordinator is a key position that will take the lead in managing and developing our maintenance portfolio throughout the UK. The core part of our business is designing, manufacturing, and installing amazing soft play centres. However, we also carry out scheduled and bespoke maintenance across the UK, covering our sites but also other companies. This is a great opportunity to strengthen our brand, maintain key relationships with customers, and seek out new business.
The Person
We are looking for a versatile, organised customer-focused individual who can multi-task and lead maintenance teams across the UK. You will possess a good level of CAD skills but also have the ability to lead people well, and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved with your team’s work.
Essential Requirements
* Proficient with the use of CAD
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* 2 years minimum leadership experience
* Demonstrable effective planning skills and experience
* Able to travel, visiting sites across the UK to carry out site surveys (training provided)
* Self-motivated and organised
* Enthusiastic about business growth
* Clean driving license
What You Will Be Doing
* Quoting for work formally using business software
* Managing enquiries quickly and effectively
* Multitasking but also prioritising work effectively
* Communicating with customers daily
* Remotely managing a team of up to 8 that works throughout the UK on various sites
* Arranging and preparing items and materials for timely collection and transport to site
* Managing maintenance stock and keeping the Procurement Team informed on levels
* Logistic planning including load calculation, travel time, effective route planning, and vehicle servicing
* Managing a growing 500K to 1M maintenance contract involving key business clients
* Happy to work flexibly including from time to time working away from home visiting clients and supervising maintenance work
* Determined to drive the maintenance sector forward, with the natural ability to build customer relationships and grow the current maintenance portfolio
