We are a friendly and supportive team, looking for a highly motivated Nurse who possesses strong wound care experience and communication skills. Your role will be pivotal within the local community by making a difference to our patients, delivering a high level of care in their own home. Teaching and upskilling Community Nursing colleagues and acting as a clinical advisor on wound care.
As a Community Wound Care Nurse, no shift is the same and you will be met with patients of varied needs, giving you the opportunity to develop and enhance your current skillset!
Working closely with Local Community Nursing Teams and Wound Care Nurses across localities.
Our working hours/days are as follows:
Core hours- 08.30-16.30hrs
Main duties of the job
1. You will visit a number of patients on a daily basis in their own homes working alongside Community staff.
2. You will provide high quality wound care to a range of patients with varying healthcare needs.
3. Teaching and upskilling colleagues.
4. Located at Church Hill House, Bracknell and covering surrounding areas.

Job responsibilities
The must-haves for you to be considered for this role:
1. Car Driver with UK licence.
2. Experience as a Wound care or Community Nurse within a healthcare setting.
3. Positive and motivational attitude.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications/Training
* RN - Diploma level or equivalent.
* Registered with the NMC.
* Wound Management & Tissue Viability Module.
* Leg Ulcer Management Module (or willingness to undertake).
* Pressure Ulcer Module (or willingness to undertake).
Continuous Professional Development
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Previous Experience
* Evidence of extensive post-reg experience.
* Community experience.
* Teaching experience.
* Hospital experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Hold a valid driving licence to drive in the UK.
* Ability to travel to multiple sites.
