What skills and experience we're looking for
Brookfield Community School have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Cook to support the Catering Manager and their team. As Assistant Cook, your role will be to prepare and cook home cooked nutritious food. On a daily basis you will be carrying out food preparation, cooking, serving meals to students and staff, managing/monitoring your team, food ordering, managing stock, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that catering standards are achieved and maintained in line with the School Food Safety Standards and Food Standards Agency which support the raising of standards of achievement and attainment.
