Job Title: Senior Consultant / Manager – Strategy & Commercial Excellence
We are looking for:
* People with direct experience in the energy industry
* Within the industry, you may have worked in: strategy; pricing & propositions; commercial finance; or a combination of these types of areas with a minimum 5 years’ collective experience
* We’re less interested formal finance qualifications, but more interested in your commercial acumen and experience in energy retail. You’re more likely to have calculated the benefit of delivering a project than working out how to account for it
* You might have experience modelling customer lifetime value; developing a commercial strategy; understanding payback on running retention campaigns; or maybe the economics of customers buying and installing solar panels and a battery
* You will always have one eye on the wider market. Your natural curiosity and horizon scanning means you always know what is likely to become a future challenge or opportunity and how to leverage this for clients in finding, creating and presenting solutions.

We are recruiting for a specialist Senior Consultant / Manager. Whilst this is a client facing role with expected travel/mobility, the nature of this role means there could be less travel than we would expect in our other lines of business. We need you to have had at least 5 years direct energy experience as detailed above
As a Senior Consultant / Manager you will be a trusted client advisor and partner. Leading and implementing the delivery of significant strategic decision making, problem solving, planning and implementation of client solutions. Leveraging advantage for our clients from industry wide challenges and opportunities on the horizon. You may also be involved in leading and implementing transformational change in a project environment for our clients.
We need people who are passionate about high quality output, have a strong work ethic and take pride in their work. Be able to communicate, influence and engage with confidence. Adapt listening and respond to challenges instantly.

Location : Hybrid, some travel will be required to client sites and Nottingham Head Office
Hours: Our results focus allows us to be really flexible on hours. We have successfully been able to accommodate part time, flexible working, compressed hours, variable hours etc.
Total Package : For an exceptional candidate our package could be between £80k - £95k, including competitive salary, bonus, private medical, pension, initial 33 days Holidays including bank holidays (increasing with length of service, see below) + holiday purchase scheme
