Teaching Assistant Location: Harrow, HA3 Day Rate: £95-£110 per day Contract: Long-term to permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP About the Role Long Term Futures is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing one-on-one support to a Year 3 pupil with ASD and behavioural needs. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement effective behaviour management strategies, contribute to lesson planning, and assist with progress monitoring to ensure the pupil's academic and social development. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored one-on-one support to the pupil, adapting learning materials to meet their needs. Implement behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Assist in lesson planning, providing insights into the pupil's progress and needs. Conduct progress monitoring, recording and reporting on the pupil's achievements and areas for improvement. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop individualised support plans.What We're Looking For Experience supporting children with ASD and behavioural needs in a primary school setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive education practices. Ability to contribute to lesson planning and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
