Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a recent English Graduate to join one of our client schools in Manchester as a Teaching Assistant.
In order to be cleared to work within this school, you must complete our registration process, which includes:
1. You must undergo a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check.
2. Once this check is complete, you will need to place it onto the update service to ensure it remains active and up to date.
3. You will also be responsible for providing a minimum of two employment-based references covering the last two years of your employment history.
4. To best prepare you to work within a school, we will require you to complete an online safeguarding course.
Key information about this position:
* This position is due to begin immediately.
* This position will be full-time.
* The salary for this position will be between £1500 and £1800 per month.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting pupils who are struggling academically by working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
* Ensuring that pupils remain focused throughout the lesson and gain a better understanding of the material.
* Supporting the teacher with preparation for lessons.
