Our client provides Transport Planning services from inception and feasibility through to planning, post-permission, and detailed design. Working with everyone from developers to local planning authorities, they span the public and private sectors. Their work includes Transport Assessments, Transport Planning, Travel Planning, Accessibility Planning, Transport Modelling, and Safety Audits. The role Prepare technical reports, including Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Walking, Cycling, Horse-Riding Assessment and Reviews. Carry out junction capacity modelling and CAD design work. Liaise with stakeholders, external project team members and clients. Represent the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions. Undertake site visits. Working collaboratively, supporting our Environmental teams with the production of Construction and Environmental Management Plans and Noise and Vibration Assessments, including assisting with monitoring sites. What you need to succeed A degree in a relevant subject is preferred (Geography, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Planning, Transport Planning) but not essential, additional qualifications are advantageous. Excellent analytical and numeracy skills. Proficient in conducting research and producing high quality reports. At least two years’ experience in the transport planning industry. Committed to continuous professional development, such as Transport Planning Professional (TPP). A high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility. A pragmatic attitude and the ability to deal with uncertainty and change. Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and make decisions around competing priorities
