Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Unqualified Teachers/Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools throughout the Wigan area. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the education sector or those considering a career in teaching. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms and ensuring that students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Location: Wigan (Ashton, Hindley, Leigh, Standish) Employment Type: Flexible Salary: Up to £100 per day (dependent on experience). Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage classroom activities while maintaining a positive learning environment. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively and ensure that students understand the tasks set. Support students’ learning by providing assistance as needed and promoting good behaviour Monitor student progress and report any issues or concerns to school staff. Foster an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and respected. Qualifications & Skills Required: No formal teaching qualifications required; however, experience working with young people is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of varying abilities. A proactive approach to problem-solving and classroom management. Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and subject areas. A passion for education and supporting student development.
