Job Title: Secondary SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide individualised academic support to secondary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
* Assist students in developing study skills, organisation, and time management
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly
* Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
* Ability to develop and deliver engaging learning materials
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
* Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or related field
* Additional certifications in SEN support
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to secondary students with SEN. The work will primarily take place in an educational setting in Richmond, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
