Description
· Lead all field service service and maintenance requirements for a fabrication and welding manufacturing company based in Preston.
· Manage the field service team who support the manufacturing function.
· Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment.
· Overall management of the back office administration team.
· Manage administration tasks.
· Supervise and support administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
· Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding, performance appraisals and reviews for your team.
· Utilise and manage the back office admin systems used.
· Ensure effective phone etiquette is maintained when handling calls from clients and suppliers.
· Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity in tasks and responsibilities.
· Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
· Provide support the the National Technical Manager in the overall management of the Service Department.
Profile
· Proven experience as an Service Manager / Office Manager or in a similar manufacturing / engineering / administrative role.
· Experience within an manufacturing / engineering environment - as a service manager
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
· Excellent administration skills with attention to detail.
· Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions within the office environment
Job Offer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus car / car allowance, bonus and benefits
