THE COMPANY Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services provide scaffolding services and access equipment, coating and painting, cleaning, insulation and fireproofing services to some of the UK’s largest industrial and energy clients. JOB PURPOSE As Commercial Lead for the Offshore Division your role will be to liaise with the Operations Team and Brand Commercial and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational costs. To support with the commercial preparation of tenders and to review commercial performance against the contract and as bid position. This role can be based in Great Yarmouth or Aberdeen. KEY RESULT AREAS: Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery. Lead the establishments of the overall success criteria for the contract, including time, cost, and performance parameters. Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and facilitate inputs from cross-functional project controls team in a matrix environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Focal point for team to ensure daily, weekly monthly duties and deadlines are achieved. Preparation of weekly dashboards. Analyse cost incurred and value earned to ensure gross margin is accurate. Compilation and submission of invoices in accordance with specific contracts. Follow up on invoice payments. Setting up project as WBS in Oracle. Accurate preparation / reporting of monthly financial results in strict accordance with company deadlines including unbilled and undeclared income reports. Supporting preparation of Tenders. Assist in setting the project budget and be involved in assembling the project team and setting task schedules. Contract / credit checking and internal referral/support where applicable Promote continuous improvement and efficiency by review of systems and processes. Provide absence cover of Commercial lead. Foster positive client relationships and resolve any client issues arising on site. Manage client expectations. Communicate regularly with client and inform of potential delays to programmes. KEY RESULTS AREA: Timely delivery of accurate cost estimates. Key contributor to financial performance of contract. Preparation of accurate quotes. Strong Client & Partner relations. Timely and Accurate weekly reporting. Contribute to monthly valuations and applications for payment. Minimise WIP and aged debt within contract. KEY REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE Strong commercial awareness Strong working knowledge of MS Office systems (Word / Excel / Outlook) Industrial services knowledge desirable
