About the role:
Moonshot is currently looking for an analytical, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Campaigns Analyst to support the design and implementation of individualised programs aiming to reach individuals at-risk of online harms - such as violent extremism, targeted violence, gender-based violence and information manipulation.
Moonshot is currently collecting applications for a Campaigns Analyst as part of a new programme of work. The position nor the project is currently confirmed, but we anticipate receiving clarification and will update the JD and individuals accordingly.
The Campaigns Analyst, under the oversight of a Campaigns Manager, will analyse social media trends and data, support the design, implementation and maintenance of advertising campaigns designed to reach target audiences and develop cross-platform pathways to connect those individuals with skilled mental and behavioural health providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and marketing.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring and analysing social media trends, including engagement metrics and audience demographics.
* Monitor and generate regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinate with teams to develop ad creatives and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
* Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform advertising strategies.
* Use analytic tools to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
* Collaborate with the intelligence insights team to incorporate emerging trends into strategies for outreach and engagement.
* Assist in the creation and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns across various platforms including Google ads, YouTube ads, and alternative platforms.
Essential:
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
* Familiarity with a variety of social media platforms and social media analytic tools.
* Understanding of digital advertising principles and platforms.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Demonstrable ability to work under pressure, taking action and getting things done, both in managing your own workload and that of others.
* Inquisitiveness and adaptability, particularly in relation to new technology and the use of social media for research.
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

* In addition, we require and will check on candidates' eligibility to work in the UK and DBS checks. Candidates will be expected to undertake any relevant security clearance procedures per the needs of clients.
Desirable:
* Fluency in languages other than English.
* Knowledge and understanding of SEO/SEM.
* Advanced analysis of a wide range of traditional and non-traditional digital platforms and / or professional experience in open-source research, OSINT methods, or threat risk analysis.
* Subject matter knowledge in one of the following areas: violent extremism, hate crimes, human trafficking.
* Demonstrable experience with digital marketing on non-traditional and emerging media and social media platforms.
