Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students
* Create individualised learning plans to address students' specific needs
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' progress
* Assess student understanding and progress through regular evaluations
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in delivering English and Maths interventions
* Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Skills:
* Demonstrated understanding of effective teaching strategies
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in using technology to enhance learning
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be based in a school or learners' home setting in Havering, Greater London. The work will primarily take place during school hours, with flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.
