We have an exciting opportunity for caring and understanding individuals with a creative nature to join our team in East Dunbartonshire as Support Practitioners on a full-time basis (39 hours per week). You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner along with the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ.
The Role
You will be joining our friendly and dynamic team who work between our dispersed service supporting individuals in the Kirkintilloch community and a young lady who is moving into her first home in Lenzie. The people we support have a range of different needs including Autism, learning and physical disabilities, complex needs and behaviours of concern.
As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take an active interest in the hobbies and passions of those we support. Whether it’s discovering new opportunities, encouraging social connections, learning new skills or reducing isolation, you’ll help individuals lead the lives they choose.

Shift Patterns
Our team provides 24/7 support which will include earlies, lates, sleepovers and waking nights.
The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours, so for every sleep you cover you will receive an additional £90.40 in your pay.
