This position sits within the payabl.one division, which brings together our online payments, in-person payments, and banking services into a unified customer experience — regardless of the service or channel. As part of the team behind our core merchant-facing platform, you'll help deliver the tools our clients rely on to manage and grow their businesses.
Working at the intersection of product, engineering, and business, you'll contribute to building solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and deeply aligned with customer needs. Your work will help ensure we not only meet but exceed expectations across multiple markets and merchant verticals, playing a key role in shaping the next generation of payment experiences.

Reporting Line: Product Manager
What You'll Do:
1. Articulate clear user stories and acceptance criteria by translating complex business requirements into well-defined product requirements. Working collaboratively with engineering teams and ensuring requirements are clearly understood using agile methodology.
2. Own and manage product backlogs by prioritizing and balancing the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
3. Support the Product Manager by translating the product vision and strategy into a well-defined product roadmap.
4. Have a pulse on the in-person payment market, conducting discovery and analysis across various European geographies, customer verticals and payment solutions.
5. Coordinate and manage with third-party vendors. Ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
6. Create strong feedback loops with our customers and commercial teams to better understand their pain points and identify ways our solutions can be tailored to address their pain points.
7. Own the end-to-end new features and enhancements to existing solutions. Work collaboratively with wider stakeholders to ensure commercial readiness for a successful launch and rollout.
8. Create training materials and train internal and external commercial teams on our product, features, and usability.
9. With the support of the Product Manager and internal stakeholders, you will build and streamline processes to better serve and manage our customer life cycles in new markets and business models.
Who You Are:
You're a proactive and analytical Business Analyst with a strong ability to connect business needs with technical solutions. You're experienced in gathering requirements, working in agile teams, and supporting product managers with data-driven insights. With excellent communication skills and a solid grasp of payment systems or fintech products, you're comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and aligning cross-team efforts to deliver results.
What We're Looking for:
Experience:
1. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, Payment Analyst, preferably in the Payments, Banking, or FinTech sectors.
2. Strong understanding of Merchant Acquiring business, including technical knowledge.
3. Experience working in an Agile environment on B2B solutions.
4. Proven experience building B2B tech products, collaborating with development teams, clients, and external/internal stakeholders.
Skills:
1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior internal and external stakeholders.
2. Ability to work on greenfield projects and guide them from ideation to launch.
3. Eye for detail, with a balance of brainstorming and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to empathize with customers and deliver world-class user experiences while ensuring scalability.
5. A self-starter with a strong drive to get the job done.

Our Hiring Process:
1. Step 1: Initial Interview - A 30-40 minute conversation with our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your experience, career goals, and expectations.

3. Step 3: Technical Assignment - A take-home test designed to showcase your skills. You'll have up to 5-7 days to complete it in a single attempt (estimated time: 60-90 minutes).
4. Step 4: Final Behavioral Interview - A 45-60 minute discussion focused on team fit and collaboration with our Product Lead and CTO. This is your chance to dive deeper into our culture and align on expectations.
