Director - Financial Services - Identity and Access Management
The role will be working in the UK Cyber Security practice within our Technology and Data service line in Advisory. Our clients are increasingly under cyber-attack and regulatory scrutiny to demonstrate effective management of cyber risk. Our specialists provide independent, jargon-free advice and advanced technical capabilities to help our clients proactively manage cyber and technology risks to drive value from their business information assets whilst protecting business.
Our cyber security services are defined within three capability groups:
* Cyber Risk, Resilience and Privacy
* Identity and access management (IAM) and cloud security
* Cyber Threat Management
We provide cyber security services to clients across three coverage groups:
* Financial Services
* Sectors
* Infrastructure, Government and Health
This is a Director role to lead our go-to-market approach for IAM services within the Financial Services (FS) sector. A key emphasis of the role will be on originating and leading the delivery of IAM engagements to clients and contributing to the leadership of our IAM capability.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the enhancement and development of an IAM strategy for the FS sector by working in collaboration with the leadership of the FS cyber security business, IAM capability and our alliance partners.
* Develop and maintain new IAM propositions and methodologies to drive and meet market demand and clients' issues.
* Grow our current footprint to meet market demand and clients' issues.
* Build relationships with other parts of the firm to bind offerings together.
* Lead our relationships with IAM alliance partners to drive collaboration and sales opportunities.
* Work collaboratively on the people management of the IAM business.
* Originate and lead on sales opportunities.
* Lead the delivery of security engagements.
* Define the people requirements to strengthen our team of cyber security resources.
Reporting to the Lead Cyber Security Partner for FS, the Director role involves:
* Taking accountability for the delivery of FS IAM engagements.
* Being responsible for expanding our IAM services in the FS sector.
* Providing leadership and collaborating with people across the coverage groups.
* Leading FS sales origination/business development initiatives.
* Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships across a range of FS organisations.
* Actively identifying and progressing FS business development opportunities.
* Coaching and developing team members.
* Contributing to practice management.
* Travelling in the UK to regional offices and supporting client delivery where required.
* Acting in line with KPMG's values at all times.
The person:
* Experience of working in the Financial Services sector including working with large, global organisations.
* Experience of working at the senior level as an IAM Lead and Consultant.
* Commercially aware and with industry relationships that will enable achievement of revenue in the region of £1.5+ million per year.
* Wide industry exposure with a depth of technical security knowledge and experience in IAM.
* Experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment facing clients in the FS sector.
* Proven experience of successfully leading, managing and delivering cyber security and technology advisory and assurance services to large/medium, multi-national clients.
* Proven experience of delivering IAM advice.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound understanding of risk management in the professional services environment.
* Extensive Cyber Security consulting experience is desirable.
* Bachelor degree qualification.
* MBA or Master degree (Desirable).
