Job summary We currently have an opportunity for a senior physiotherapist to join our rotations at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) for a fixed term. Main duties of the job Work as an autonomous practitioner to manage a significant specialist clinical caseload including using respiratory, medical, neurological and orthopaedic skills and knowledge. Complete comprehensive patient assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses and problem lists and provide appropriate therapy input to facilitate onward planning and safe discharge from hospital. Contribute to board rounds or problem patient sessions to ensure that patients get the right treatment, at the right time in the right place. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, putting patient care and the patient experience first. Actively participate in service development and contribute to monitoring of standards of practice, and take personal responsibility in your professional development and professional registration requirements. Show passion for providing a high level of care and safeguarding to patients known to our service. Have the ability to use initiative, communicate with empathy and be an effective team player. Demonstrate leadership skills and deputise for the team leads whenever necessary.
