12-Month Fixed-term Contract We are looking for a PMO Manager to join the Data & Functions Technology Delivery Portfolio on a fixed-term contract basis, reporting into the Senior PMO Manager. Within the Portfolio, we are supporting the modernisation and simplification of the Society's data platforms and technologies. In addition to supporting the delivery of technical change which supports the People, COO, Risk & Internal Audit and Finance business functions. The role offers a great deal of variety and to be successful you need a strong change background or equivalent. What you'll be doing You'll be planning and managing PMO-related activities on strategic programmes and across associated value streams to support and improve delivery which include: Managing the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of effective governance across our strategic change initiatives Leading on turning complex data analysis and insight into consumable management information with key stakeholders, providing options and solutions for effective decision making and prioritisation Leading on quality assurance activities of the change deliverables against the standards set by our change delivery framework, methodologies and controls to ensure effectiveness and adherence Monitoring performance against outcomes and objectives; support the design, implementation and analysis of metrics to assess performance of change delivery Where applicable, create bespoke reporting/automation using Confluence, PowerBI to provide necessary insight for delivery teams and key stakeholders. Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working within the team, seeking efficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction About you You will be an experienced change professional, ideally with specific experience of data insight, governance and assurance background. We are looking for someone who can bring the following to the role: Previous experience of delivering a PMO service in a transformation change environment Knowledge gained via training and qualifications in the PMO specialism and/or in a role with relevant transferrable skills Experienced at understanding, analysing, and interpreting insight and complex data sets, ideally using PowerBI and JIRA to make informed decisions and recommendations An effective communicator, with experience of creating presentations to drive insight and aid decision making, tailored to the target audience. Experience in project management across agile and waterfall Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to manage and own multiple competing priorities and deliverables Strong communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships Able to cope with ambiguity and negotiate and influence senior stakeholders to achieve good outcomes.
