We are currently seeking a results-driven Housekeeper Manager. The role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the Halls and Estates cleaning services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient cleaning operations within the hotel and the hall area. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach. The primary goal will be to cohesively bring together all housekeeping services to all areas and departments across the Estate. The role delivers and maintains standards of service in line with financial controls and agreed operating service standards. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations. Implement and enforce hall policies and procedures related to housekeeping, services. Identify any health and safety issues including fire hazard issues within the hotel area, resolve where possible or escalate to the line manager or General manager as appropriate. Train and motivate team members to provide excellent cleaning services and ensure adherence to hall policies and procedures (Housekeeping procedures, safety protocols, and customers service expectations). Support the recruitment of all categories of staff within this area (with support from internal HR department), provides induction training, development training, appraisal and first line of discipline. Allocates tasks and monitors workloads to promote effective staff development. Location Madingley Hall is part of the Institute of Continuing Education in the University of Cambridge.
