We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HM/ICR name, a category C Prison located in Staffordshire. HMP Oakwood is one of the largest prisons in the UK, housing over 1,500 men.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday covering an 8-week rota. Night shifts are covered as per below:
* Weekdays: 19:45 - 07:15
* Weekends: 19:45 - 07:45
Salary: This position offers an annual salary up to £41,673.00 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Night Nurse in the Primary Care Team, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team
* Be able to make final decisions during the night shift
