Job summary An exciting opportunity exists for two enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised individuals to join the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC), delivering work associated with the nationalVoluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing, Access and Growth (VPAG) programme, supporting innovative approaches to medicine assessment, patient access and uptake of new medicines. AWTTC supports health technology assessment and medicines appraisal, medicines optimisation, prescribing analysis, medicines safety, education, and toxicology services. The VPAG programme will align with clinical initiatives across NHS Wales, supporting existing structures and emerging priorities. The role involves working at a national level as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will provide technical, scientific, data and analytical support to the horizon scanning and financial forecasting, and implementation workstreams. You will lead on ensuring records and processes are kept up-to-date and support VPAG project leads with objectives and reporting. The successful candidates will have excellent communication and presenting skills. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships and engagement with a very diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical experts and policy makers. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and have experience leading and coordinatingthe delivery of projects. Main duties of the job The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. This is a fixed term or secondment post for 36 months due to funding.
