Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 Intervention Teacher to work in a school in the Northfield area of Birmingham. This role is for an ASAP start and is full-time.
The school is looking for a Year 6 Booster/Intervention Teacher who wants a new challenge working as part of a supportive team that shares planning. You will primarily work with lower ability groups to support the preparation and intervention required for SATS.
The school is part of a large academy trust and progression opportunities are available for staff within the school and schools within the group. The school has a strong leadership team who are on hand to support where necessary.

This is a large school with good transport links. It has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and provides additional support for these students both within the classroom and through extended resources within the school.

As a full-time teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:
1. Teach Year 6 SATS intervention and preparation
2. Assess, mark, and plan lessons and SATS practice papers
3. Assess achievements of pupils
4. Provide progress reports and attend parents' evenings & department meetings
