Overview
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days) 8:45am-3:45pm ideally, though flexibility with working hours may be considered for a suitable candidate.
Contract: One Year Fixed Term Contract (with potential to extend).
Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2 currently £24,879 to £26,961 per annum (FTE) - Actual pro-rata salary range for 32.5 hours is £18,533 to £20,084 per annum.
Potential Start Date: April 2025.

We actively support students with SEND in order to allow them to develop their interests, knowledge and skill both within the classroom and outside in the wider world. We utilise a range of strategies that incorporate high quality teaching and personalised approaches to allow students with SEND to access the same curriculum as students without SEND.
The LSA role provides academic support across the curriculum for pupils with Special Educational Needs. An LSA may have additional out-of-lesson responsibilities such as 1:1 mentoring, laptop support, handwriting assessments, examination administration or modifying resources.
About you
The successful candidate will have some knowledge of Special Educational Needs, ideally gained within a school environment. They will display a firm belief in the potential of every pupil and be able to evidence having worked with children in some capacity. They will have the ability to prioritise workload and show initiative when supporting pupils in day-to-day situations. They will be patient, possess a good sense of humour, and have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as required.
