Location: Hybrid working, x2 days in Liverpool Street (finish at 1pm on a Friday)
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 +bonus + benefits
Job Description:
1. Processing the end-to-end payroll for employees and contractors.
2. Managing payroll changes, changing tax codes, ordering childcare vouchers, entering deductions, preparing payment files for submission, and ensuring that all payroll deadlines are met.
3. Managing a team of x2 junior payrollers.
4. Acting as the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Assisting Finance with reconciliations of payroll accounts.
6. Compiling monthly pension reports.
7. Maintaining accurate payroll and employee data to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
8. Monitoring relevant payroll regulations.
9. Assisting with the administration of employee benefits, setting up deductions on the payroll system, and reconciling invoices.
10. Monitoring the Payroll department mailbox.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
1. Hardworking, professional, and calm under pressure.
2. Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Strong team management skills; must have previous management experience.
4. Excellent IT skills, ideally in Excel.
5. Strong payroll, tax, and benefits knowledge.
6. MUST have worked for a global business and dealt with high volume payroll.
