Business Development Manager : Aylesbury
Pertemps is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our manufacturing client based in Aylesbury.
Hours: Mon:Thurs 8:00 am:4:30 pm and Fri 8 am:1:00 pm
Salary: up to GBP 45,000 (DOE) + Commission
You will be responsible for developing the business through new and existing customers, selling a range of company products, maintaining the Companys internal CRM and databases with information updates, working to sales targets, sales forecasting, and agreed budgets.
The Business Development role is predominantly office:based, with regular visits to new potential customers, as well as existing customers where growth opportunities have been identified. You will be expected to actively engage with internal sales functions and systems, utilising the Companys ERP system for stock holding, pricing, order inputting, report generation, and purchasing.
Duties:
: Identify growth opportunities through new business and developing existing accounts.
: Visit key customers to build relationships and actively grow business.
: Take full ownership of customer accounts, from opening, negotiating prices, inputting orders, and dealing with customer returns and credits.
: Utilise suitable reports to provide areas of growth opportunity, sales trends, and stock holding.
: Work towards agreed KPI targets and regularly update progress.
: Conduct market analysis and research for new product possibilities.
: Support Accounts with aged debt collection and invoice queries.
: Be responsible for accurate stock holding and purchasing.
: Send updated schedules to suppliers.
: Monitor and communicate incoming deliveries
Requirements:
: Previous BDM/Sales experience
: Full UK driving licence
: Excellent customer service experience
