8 hours per week. Hours Mondays 8.00 -11.00am, Tuesdays 3.30 -6.30 pm, Wednesdays 2 hours AM or PM or Thursdays 4.30 -6.30 PM
Hourly pay rate:
£12.00
I am a lady in my sixties with a wide range of interests writing poetry, reading, gardening, sewing and crafting. I have lost my confidence and need someone to remind me of what I am capable of.
I have profound deafness, since I was three years old. I am very good at lip-reading, you will need to face when we communicate and speak clearly. I am bipolar, an understanding of both conditions would be beneficial.
I am looking for a PA for 8 hours per week to support me with –
Help with admin and making phone calls
Help with planning journeys on the bus and train.
Sorting for charity and tip, books CDS etc
Deep clean of one room at a time.
Going out for a coffee and an opportunity to talk
Initial support to attend groups/classes that I would then attend independently.
Duties include:
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Looking after pets
Gardening
Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
