Job Vacancy: Activities Coordinator
Location : Hengist Field Care Home, Pond Farm Road, Sittingbourne Kent ME9 8LS
Contracted hours : 30 hours (to include some weekend work)
(Hourly) rate of pay : £12
As Recreation & Wellbeing (Activities) Coordinator, you will enjoy being a part of an exceptionally supportive team, providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at Hengist Field Care Home.

The Activities Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
* Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents’ preferences, and producing a written rota. Updating activities boards around the home.
* Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
* Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities and liaising with the Marketing team to produce information for newsletters.
* Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.
* Maintaining skills at a current level and undertaking training and development as required to progress knowledge.
