As we continue to grow, we are seeking two passionate and highly skilled R&D Scientists to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking preclinical research and help drive the development of our innovative therapies towards clinical application. Key Responsibilities: Conduct hands-on preclinical research, including in vivo and in vitro studies, to assess the safety and efficacy of StimOxyGens proprietary nanoparticles. Work collaboratively with the R&D team to design, execute, and analyse experiments aligned with project goals. Perform animal handling, dosing, and tissue sample collection in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards. Oversee and execute radiation protection protocols for radiotherapy-based in vivo and in vitro studies. Analyse and interpret experimental data, preparing detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Home Office regulations, radiation safety standards, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Contribute to the development and refinement of protocols and methodologies to support ongoing and future studies. Essential Criteria: PhD in a life sciences-related discipline. Relevant experience in in vivo oncology models, including handling, dosing, and tissue sampling. A personal licence (e.g., Home Office PIL A/B/C) to carry out in vivo studies is mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Desirable Criteria: Experience working in a start-up or commercial industry setting, particularly within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device sectors. Experience with flow cytometry, histology, and/or nanoparticle formulation. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory standards in preclinical research. Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and oncology-focused molecular analysis. What We Offer: A competitive salary of £33,000£39,000 (dependent on experience).
