Community Outreach Worker (MUST BE A CAR OWNER/DRIVER)
Headway Birmingham & Solihull is a Brain Injury Charity. Our Community Outreach Team provides support, services, and guidance for people with an Acquired Brain Injury, enabling them to improve their independence at home and in the community, leading to an improved quality of life.

Our pay scale starts at the National Living Wage of £11.78ph, includes six levels of pay up to £12.21ph (for qualified and experienced Community Outreach Workers), and we have hours to suit your lifestyle.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, friendly, positive, caring, self-motivated individuals who have the drive, personality, and reliability to make a real difference to our clients’ lives.
Your role will involve supporting clients to attend appointments, social activities, and shopping in the community using your own car to transport them and assist with day-to-day living skills in their homes. Some personal care may be required. Staff wear all appropriate PPE including masks when required by clients.
Applicants will need to be a Car Driver/Owner and have experience of working with disabilities, have, or be willing to gain a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Adult Care. Experience of working with brain injury is desirable.
