About The Department
Communications, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR) plays a central role in telling the Goldsmiths story to our key audiences. The CMR directorate covers internal communications, media relations, strategic communications, brand and design, digital (website, video and social media), marketing, business partnering, and UK and International recruitment.
We aim to ensure academic departments and professional service teams are supported by experts who understand their needs and priorities, whilst playing our part in the delivery of an excellent student, colleague and external audience experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a focused and experienced individual to join our team as International Student Recruitment Manager. As a leading institution known for outstanding Art and Design courses and committed to innovation and free thinking, this will be a dynamic role. The brand occupies a unique position in the market, with courses delivered in a one-campus location in London. In this role, you will oversee the work of an International Student Recruitment Officer and be responsible for meeting and surpassing recruitment targets for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting and recruiting international students, as well as working with agents, attending HE fairs, visiting schools and travelling internationally representing the institution.
1. Previous student recruitment experience in LATAM, US and Canada is necessary.
2. Proven experience in international student recruitment, preferably in a university setting.
3. Strong understanding of global education systems and international admissions processes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with international educational agents, high schools, and other key stakeholders.
6. Has previously represented an education provider at international recruitment events, fairs, and conferences.
7. Ability to travel internationally as needed.
