Telephonist
Job summary:
As a Telephonist working at Audi York, you will handle all incoming telephone calls, professionally and promptly connecting callers to the relevant person or department whilst ensuring the highest level of customer experience. You will also welcome visitors ensuring they are well attended to at the Dealership and assisting them where appropriate.
You will be committed to providing excellent customer service in line with the company’s high standards and carry out professional work with enthusiasm and energy!

Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the highest standard of courtesy and integrity when interacting with customers and members of the public.
2. Ensuring that telephone calls are answered promptly and in accordance with Company and Brand standards.
3. Guaranteeing all visitors consistently receive a professional and courteous welcome.
4. Utilising the email and database system to record and promptly and accurately distribute messages.
5. Care for and provide refreshments to customers and visitors who are waiting for another member of the team, assisting as necessary to maximise customers’ comfort while they are on site.
6. Ensure the switchboard and outgoing calls are monitored and analysed to provide detailed information on enquiry levels.
Qualifications:
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and unambiguously with customers, members of the public and other team members.
8. Excellent telephone manner with the ability to quickly build rapport with, and inspire confidence in customers.
9. Impeccable standard of personal presentation.
10. A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
11. A passionate, enthusiastic, proactive, professional approach!
