LOCATION: Spirit, Belfast CONTRACT: Permanent SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday SALARY: Competitive Purpose: As an AHU Maintenance Engineer at ABM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of the AHU installations within our client's vast manufacturing facility. Your work will contribute to the safety and security of the facility, helping to protect both employees and assets in the event of an emergency. As an AHU Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Facilities Site Leads. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the mechanical industry. Requirements • Regularly perform inspections and preventive maintenance on AHU systems including tasks such as replacing belts and lubricating bearings. • Conduct routine evaluations of system performance and implement necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency. • Ensure adherence to all applicable standards, regulations, legislation, and Codes of • Practice, as well as client-specific standards related to mechanical safety. • Identify and rectify malfunctions within AHU systems. • Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues in AHU systems, applying effective solutions. • Carry out routine maintenance on water coolers, which includes cleaning, replacing filters, and inspecting components. • Support larger multi-disciplinary projects from initial concept through to completion. • Adhere to ABM and client health and safety policies and procedures. • Maintain precise records for all AHU systems, including maintenance logs, repair documentation, and system specifications. • Collaborate with other staff and subcontractors as needed to ensure timely project completion within established operational targets. • Conduct all work in compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, ensuring adherence to permit-to-work protocols and client procedures. • Follow all company procedures diligently to maintain quality standards consistently. • Identify potential hazards or areas for improvement on-site and report them to the facilities helpdesk.
