We are looking for experienced caring Day Team Leaders to join our team of Support Staff at a new home opening in November to deliver 1-1 support to young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs/challenging behaviour. The Residents will have varying degrees of learning disabilities, Autism, Sensory impairments and challenging behaviours. Support Staff will be promoting independence and supporting them to lead a fulfilling life while keeping the Residents, themselves and others safe at all times.
Every day will be different where you will be supporting the individuals we care for with daily challenges, helping them to learn new life skills and taking part in day-to-day activities that most people take for granted. Residents will be encouraged to be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.
As a Team Leader, your role is to co-ordinate high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities or Autism and identify if the support provided is appropriate, as well as manage a team of support workers. You MUST ensure our service users receive the utmost support at all times. You will be responsible for ensuring staff follow both company and CQC guidance and work within company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* You will have full support of the Management Team to enable you to achieve the desired outcome.
* You will complete relevant audits, health and safety checks, and supervisions with your team.
* You will assist support staff where required or work alone with the person we support.
* As a senior member of the team, you will promote good practice at all times and be a positive role model.
* You will support and guide your team to work in person-centred approaches and maximise the opportunities for the people we support.

* Recording and completing any appropriate documentation.
* Maintaining training, compliance, and support of staff through co-ordination and completion of supervisions.
* Liaising with the family and other professionals involved in the lives of the people we support.
* Completing weekly audits in line with company policies and Quality assurance.
* Overseeing the support team and reporting to the home's management.
This position requires experienced Day staff with a flexible rolling rota to meet the diverse needs of our residents.
