We are looking for a highly motivated Production Manager to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. An exciting opportunity for a skilled Production Manager to join a well-established company and Production team. As Production Manager, you will be tasked with the running and continuous improvement of the Production Department. You will be a strong man-manager with a comprehensive production background within a manufacturing/production environment. This role will appeal to an autonomous individual with a comprehensive idea of how to run a successful Production team within a pressurised environment. This position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.
Role Description
* Responsible for the achievement of envisaged aims, by operating in compliance with safety, environmental and product's safety provisions; ISO 9001 Quality System; Group's policies.
* Manage the production personnel, including shift rotation.
* Organize the personnel's technical training, testing their acquisition level.
* Collaborate with the Production Planning Office suggesting possible corrective actions.
* Ensure that the product is compliant with the assigned technical specifications.
* Collaborate with the Product Office in the permanent updating of technical specifications, signalling anomalies and suggesting alterations for ongoing improvement.
* Participate in the activities to develop new products checking their technical feasibility and, if necessary, managing technical tests and sampling.
* Participate in the assessment of auxiliary raw materials by organizing and following their industrial tests.
* Promote the permanent improvement aimed at the optimisation of productive processes also through innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with Maintenance in order to guarantee the correct functioning of productive lines.
* Supervise compliance with safety provisions.
* Contribute to the creation of new products.
* Responsible for the collaborators' professional growth, valorisation and motivation.
* Promote a safety, quality and environment-bound corporate culture.

Qualifications/Experience
* Degree - Engineering Discipline.
* Extensive Production Manager background.
* Paper/Tissue/Cardboard manufacturing experience.
* Project management and planning skills.
