This is an opportunity for a collaborative leader in the robotics field to play a major role in the development of innovations in the MedTech industry.
As part of a rapidly growing team, your wide breadth of knowledge in advanced robotics and automation will be highly valued as you help steer the team to achieve their goals. Reporting directly to the COO, your responsibilities will include defining, designing, building and testing mobile robotics solutions for a manufacturing environment. Project management and leadership skills will also be essential as you will help to build the team where necessary, ensuring its success, and communicating progress to stakeholders at all levels.
You will need:
* Extensive industry experience in robotics and automation, backed by a good degree (preferably at master’s level or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical subject
* Proven leadership skills, ideally with multidisciplinary engineering teams utilising Agile methodologies
* Hands-on experience working with industrial state-of-the-art robotics, including AMRs and 6-DoF arms, and advanced sensing including machine vision
* Familiarity with industrial, networked communication protocols (e.g. MQTT), along with robotic prototyping software such as ROS 1 or 2. Good skills in Python or C++ will be expected, ideally combined with familiarity with CI/CD methods
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative nature
