Job Purpose:
To support the business through the provision of insightful analysis, management information and KPIs, and to standardise and develop accounting and business reporting through use of global reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
* Analysis of month end variances, collaboration with finance team on investigation of variances and business explanations
* Support Monthly Reporting to Divisional Board
* Support FP&A team in preparation & analysis of budget & forecasts
* Support Monthly Board Pack
* Reconciliation of Global Recharge Processes
* Reporting and Analysis of KPIs supporting SES initiatives and divisional balanced scorecard
* Other ad hoc analysis as required
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Confident to engage with business users and management at all levels
* Good communication, IT and written presentation skills
* Fluency in business English
* Conscientious and organised worker who completes tasks in a timely manner
* Ability to work on own initiative is essential
* A good team player and ability to network within the Smiths finance community
