Vines Group is looking for the next generation of apprentices to start September 2025. Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS!
Year 1 - £18,000 pa
Year 2 - £24,000 pa
Year 3 - £30,000 pa + the opportunity to earn bonus
Completion Salary - £36,720 + the opportunity to earn bonus
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to begin your journey to becoming a qualified BMW Technician. You will achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training as well as building up confidence and gaining valuable work experience whilst undertaking the role.
Most of your 3 year apprenticeship will be on-the-job training based at our centre with day-to-day assistance from your mentor who is a qualified BMW Technician. A BMW representative will also visit you usually on a 12 weekly basis to set performance targets and ensure any development needs are being met.
The classroom sessions will be offsite and delivered at the dedicated BMW Group Training Academy based in Reading, Berkshire. You will also receive the added benefit of Functional Skills support during the programme if required.
On successful completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship, the qualifications attained will be:
* IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician
* IMI Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigeration Handling
* IMI Level 2 Award in Electric / Hybrid Vehicles
* IMI Accreditation Service Maintenance Technician
Your qualifications don't stop there! Following on from completion of the apprenticeship, you will have a fantastic foundation to continue your career within the automotive industry with clear nationally recognised training pathways.
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Technician at Vines you will be responsible for undertaking maintenance, service and repair activities on all BMW and MINI's. The course is unique to BMW with special emphasis on electronics and cutting edge technology; your training will include the opportunity to work on the latest cars, engines and BMW diagnostic equipment especially in innovation areas such as digitalisation and electrification.

Applicants are required to have, or are predicted to obtain, GCSEs at grades A*-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) in the following subjects:
* English
* Maths
* One other subject
