About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join City CV at a time of continued rapid growth in the role of Client Support Associate. You will be comfortable supporting, liaising with, and advising internationally based customers across all levels – from graduates to senior executives.
You will have a strong track record in a client-facing, customer/after-sales service and administrative role, preferably (although not essential) within the recruitment, career, HR, coaching, or professional/financial services sector.
Your primary focus will be managing the customer journey and delivery of our products and services to both B2C and B2B clients, from initial sales orders to after-sales service follow-up. You will achieve high customer satisfaction and delivery integrity through prompt and efficient management of customer communications, queries, and product delivery.
This is definitely not a slow or boring environment; every day is different! Your communication skills will be polished and corporate, and you must have a great sense of humour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a seamless and positive customer journey by acting as the key liaison between client support associates and clients, providing timely updates and exceptional service.
* Manage and respond to customer enquiries across multiple channels, including phone, live chat, and email, taking ownership and escalating as needed for timely resolution.
* Deliver after-sales service follow-up to ascertain and inform the broader team on feedback and escalate any unresolved issues for further action.
* Manage client communications from order placement through project completion, addressing queries and resolving issues as they arise.
* Proactively oversee client deadlines and coordinate end-to-end project delivery, ensuring smooth execution and on-time completion.
* Maintain Salesforce (or other database) with accurate up-to-date data.
* Build strong/high-impact client relations with new and existing clients.
* Other duties from time to time as necessary, including attendance at events/roadshows etc.
* Ad hoc projects | All other duties as requested.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong professional background in B2C/B2B customer service, client administration, and after-sales service, ideally within recruitment, coaching, careers, HR, or talent solutions.
* Excellent customer support and communication capabilities – desire to achieve high CSAT scores.
* Strong, confident external-facing, ambassadorial skills to present and promote City CV.
* Self-starter, proactive, and able to work as part of a team and autonomously.
* Passion and hunger to succeed and be a part of an exciting, growing business.
* High attention to detail, accuracy in all internal/external communications (phone, email etc).
* High-energy, hands-on, dynamic, and ambitious.
* Quick thinking and intellectually agile with a commercial mindset.
* Polished interpersonal/communication skills commensurate with a client-facing culture.
* Thrive when multi-tasking in a fast-paced, busy environment.
* Integrity and high ethical standards.
* Strong IT, CRM, and MS Office Skills.
