Job Title: Social Worker - Court & Locality - Manchester\nLocation: Manchester\nPay Rate: £35 per hour\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nManchester City Council are looking for a social worker for their safeguarding and support service.\n\nWhat will your responsibilities be?\n\nIn this role, you will prepare detailed reports and assessments for court proceedings, attend court hearings, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as the Children Act 1989. You will work closely with legal professionals and other agencies to safeguard children. Your responsibilities include conducting Section 47 enquiries, supporting Children in Need ( CIN ) and Child Protection plans, and engaging directly with families.
