Legal Cashier – Central Brighton/Hybrid working after probation
My client is currently looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join its Brighton based law firm assisting the accounts department and office manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in accounts and administration.
My client requires two years plus of legal cashiering experience.
Duties include:
1. Transaction Management: Advertise funds received in various banking platforms and process e-chits with complete documentation for credits and debits.
2. AML Compliance: Ensure all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks are completed and all requests are compliant before posting to ledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Finance.
3. Bank Queries: Address queries regarding bank receipts, particularly when documentation or references are incomplete, via chat platforms.
4. Collaboration: Assist the Senior Cashier with tasks such as Land Registry processes and other duties as needed.
5. Expense Management: Undertake posting of expenses as part of a newly introduced task.
6. Billing Support: Provide holiday cover and support billing processes when necessary.
7. Client Payment Processing: Assist in processing client card payments as required.
8. General Queries: Handle queries related to receipts and payments with efficiency and professionalism.
