Streets Corner Surgery is a well-established and friendly GP practice serving a patient population of approximately 5,700. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate GP to join our supportive team.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide comprehensive medical care to patients
2. Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
3. Manage a range of acute and chronic conditions
4. Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of the surgery
5. Engage in continuous professional development and appraisal activities
About us
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to work 6 sessions per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of primary care services to our diverse patient population. You will work alongside a team of experienced GPs, nurses, and administrative staff in a supportive and collaborative environment.

6. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
7. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
8. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
9. Effective management of long-term conditions
10. Provide appropriate preventative health care and advice within the context of primary health care.
11. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, EPS, reviewing patient letters/discharges and other associated administrative tasks and respond to queries in an appropriate time frame.
12. Undertake on call/duty doctor roles
13. On a rotational basis, undertake appointments in extended contracted hours
14. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
15. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
16. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
17. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
18. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas)
19. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required

Essential
20. Qualified GP
21. MRCGP
22. GMC Registration
23. National Performers List Registration
24. Eligibility to Practice in the UK independently
25. Appropriate Defense Indemnity
Desirable
26. Experience of QOF and clinical audit
27. General understanding of the GMS Contract
