Working hours: 25-30 Hours plus Relief Workers

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Supported Living Scheme.
We pay an attractive salary of £16,414 – £21,064 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly Supported Living Scheme is looking for Female Social Care Workers to support Adults with a Learning Disability. We are committed to delivering a high-quality service to individuals and continuously aim to improve the experience for those receiving care and support.
These key roles will require the successful applicants to build positive working relationships with other team members and communicate ideas with genuine passion, commitment, and flexibility to enhance team performance in our Supported Living Service.
The successful applicants will need to have experience of working in a care setting, be able to adopt a motivated, committed, and flexible approach to duties, which involves regular weekend working, sleepovers, and Bank Holidays. Experience with clients that require support and assistance with all aspects of daily life, personal care, and social skills is essential.
The successful applicants must be in receipt of or be committed to achieving a relevant qualification Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent within 1 year of appointment (subject to availability of training).

For the role, we ask that you have:
* Requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
* An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment, i.e., Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence, and rights.
* Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living, and social skills.
