Buying Admin Assistant – London
The duration of the contract is 8 months.
The pay rate on offer is £15 per hour.
The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working).
The client is a multinational high street retailer.
Key accountabilities of the role
Support & Coordination
* Coordination of Tech Pack development
* Coordination and tracking of Critical Path activity
* Ensuring that product rooms are tidy and compliant with H&S requirements
* Scheduling and coordinating attendance and agendas for regular team meetings
* Team reporting
* Liaising with Sourcing, Marketing, Retail, Ecom, International and other internal functions to support business priorities
* Coordination of the sample library and develop and provide product information and copy for PLM and the website
* Coordinate and deliver product relevant packaging requirements in line with critical path
* Ensure .com imagery and copy are ready and on time for launch
Systems, Reporting & Analysis
* Compilation of customer or competitor analysis
* Analysis of historical sales in line with trends and design direction to manage product mix parameters including price architecture, colour balance, shape, and margin
* Ensuring the timely completion of relevant systemic approvals and processes
Key skills and experience
* Experience of working within a retail environment
* Passion for products and desire to learn about the brand and customer
* Highly organised with attention to detail when performing tasks, ability to anticipate and manage problems and to prioritise and escalate where necessary
* Systems experience, including Microsoft Excel, or a clear demonstration of the ability to learn to use systems quickly
* Good communication skills; communicating clearly using phone, email, VC etc.
* Knowledge of, or strong desire to learn, about the end to end Buying process
* Proactive in looking for opportunities to coordinate, simplify or make tasks more efficient
