The role
As a Compliance Senior Task Planner you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your role will include assisting the Principal Engineer and General Manager in the co-ordination, evaluation, and prioritisation of the Technical Compliance Authority (TCA) portfolio of tasks and requirements.
Day-to-day, you’ll need to consider key resource requirements, along with the integration and interaction of the programmes within areas of newly injected works and scheduled tasks. You will advise on potential bottlenecks and clashes and recommend solutions. You must also ensure the appropriate processes are adhered to whilst optimising the programme of works.
* Health & Safety – At all times adhere to the company Health and Safety policies and where appropriate promote safe working practices whilst planning the portfolio of tasks.
* Task Planning – To establish, maintain and control the task plan with the input of key project stakeholders.
* Task Controls – To identify areas of risk within the plan and to advise and support management of the variances of risk.
* Resource Control – Ensure allocations and assignments are known by resource and smoothing where appropriate.
* Take On – Provide input to weekly ‘take on’ meeting to advise on resource availability, risks to plan, etc.
* Reporting – As required, provide reports for presentation to Senior Management and other key stakeholders.
This role is full time OR part time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 1/2 days in the office/onsite and 3/4 days working from home depending on business needs.
Essential experience of the Compliance Senior Task Planner
* Knowledge of planning processes and business applications
* Experience in creating plans from scratch, not just adapting plans
* Working experience with Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project
* Technical or Engineering background desirable
